CH 31.24, A Shocking Request

The mysterious person who stopped Fanuk appears to be a woman. Her face is well hidden by the harsh shadow from the building’s roof. The mysterious woman begins to speak. She seems to have a flirty behavior.

[???] Been waiting for you~

Recognizing the voice, Fanuk immediately knows who this person is.

[Fanuk] It’s you.
[???] I see you met some nice people recently~ How about you tell me who they are?
[Fanuk] Oh that! Well they sure are nice. I met Jin who happens to be my new training partner and I met Sagami, who is Jin’s friend. They both are nice people. As for Nasumi- *remembers flashback when he first met Nasumi*-eeh not so much.
[???] Awh~ That is so sweet. That nice person, you said her name is Sagami.?
[Fanuk] Yes. She was nice enough to invite me to hang out with Jin and her at the Lantern Festival. I never had been to a Lantern Festival before so I’m going to give it a try.
[???] I see. Well that’s too~bad!
[Fanuk] What do you mean?
[???} I received orders from a group of people. They want me to pass something onto you~

The mysterious woman brings her right hand into her clothing to grab something. She took something out from her clothing which appears to be some sort of bag.

[Fanuk] ! What’s that?! You don’t mean?!
[???] That’s right dear~ Kill her.
[Fanuk] Wh-why? She’s not weak.
[???] This is a different case dear. It’s up to you if you want to do it. But let me tell you this as a warning. If you don’t kill her by tonight, you will be killed~
[Fanuk] !! Tch!

Fanuk grabs the bag away from her hand and walks away with an annoyed face.
